In reply to Barbara Bartels. Yeah I dont think it's a novel for everyone. I wouldnt consider it a must-read though it is a fresh take on Mexico and border issues.

I don’t know any of these books. I will probably skip the novel. I have a long list right now of books I want to read and don’t need to add one that is so-so and slightly confusing. I do like dark though.

I had to postpone reading this one because I had a few galleys expiring, but I am still really looking forward to reading it. Every time I see pictures of a Siberian tiger, I think of The Tiger, and I read that several years ago. Talk about a book staying with you!
