It’s only like 10 days away now – so I will try to keep my nerves in check. Yeah I think you would like Force of Nature. I think the author plays off the whole Team Building work plot in an interesting way — nobody seems to like going on these forced work outings. I’m not sure I can blame them.

I cannot believe that my daughter starts school next week. Unbelievable. Where did summer go? It’s 110 today so the temp reminds me that we are still in summer and probably will be weather-wise until October or so.

I read the Potato Peel Society book (saying the whole title is like a tongue twister!) a few years ago…and I’m excited at the idea of watching it on Netflix.

Hi Susie, thanks, Montreal should be a blast, and I’ll try to battle on the court as much as I can. I can’t believe it’s just a couple weeks away now. I need as much practice as possible. 🙂 The Guernsey book had pluses and minuses for me but I’m glad I finally got to it. I’ll probably catch the movie. Do you have a dog now? Labs are a lot of fun. Stella is part person at this point. She’s a little bit spoiled but I can’t help it.

Thanks Brian. I hope summer will last a long while thru Sept. The cycling novel was quite well done and felt real. It has a good ending and was quite interesting about the price one pays for striving for difficult goals. Hmm.

Hi Kathy, I think Montreal will feel quite humid to me, but perhaps it’s not as humid as SC? I think it’ll be in the 90s too. Yikes. Check for the Guernsey movie; it’s supposed to be out Aug. 10-ish on Netflix. I think it should be entertaining.

Hi Carmen, thanks always for your input. I have not watched Game of Thrones but Michiel Huisman seems exquisite eh? Apparently he was in 18 episodes of G of T back a couple years ago, so I should get to it. The title is very long of the Potato Peel Pie Society book — I call it something different every time. Sometimes it’s Peanut Butter Pie Society 🙂 . I’ll try to do my best in Montreal. It should be a fun excursion. I like going back East — as I don’t get there much.
