Hi all. The sad news is my mother in California passed away on April 15, so I’m currently taking some time to reflect and help my Dad and siblings with arrangements. I am glad to have been in California visiting my parents at the time. I appreciate all your kind thoughts and will be back shortly to talk about all things books and reading. Many thanks.
Susan, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother and I am glad you were in California at the time. My parents were in Alabama, and I was able to be with my family when my father died, but wasn’t there when my mother died. I will be thinking of you and your family.

I am very late to be reading your sad news since I’ve been a bit out of commission myself, but I send you my sincerest sympathy and understanding. Having lost both of my parents, I do understand the pain as well as the problem of dealing with so many unexpected and complicated issues. Stay strong.
